Every year, the CCJ Career Leadership Award recognizes one of the most distinguished executives in the trucking industry. To honor them, we produce a premium, long-form biographical documentary that covers their entire life and career journey.
Because we only have a single day on-site with these upper-echelon leaders, the production schedule is incredibly tight. I consult during pre-production to map out the strategy, and then I take the lead on the ground, handling field production, visual direction, and B-roll acquisition to make sure everything needed is gathered.
In post-production, I translate hours of raw interview footage into a structured 20-minute script with voiceovers, shaping a cinematic narrative out of decades of history. Ultimately, this is a high-stakes, marquee project backed by major industry sponsors like ExxonMobil and Bendix. Executing it successfully every year requires precision to protect major corporate partnerships and deliver a flagship media asset that elevates our brand footprint.
